The Coldrakes were animals native to the Blaak Mountains, and they were commonly known as wind-vipers.

Description Edit

Coldrakes resembled giant serpents around twenty feet in length, with leathery wings similar to those of dragons and dappled blue or brown scales. However, they were somewhat smaller than other dragons, could not breathe fire, and were less intelligent than other true dragons. They used a psionic scream to stun their prey, immobilizing and then killing them. They usually hunted in groups of about three or four called murders, though larger murders did exist. Dragons and Coldrakes are distant cousins, but are less closely related than Dragons and Mytual.

Coldrakes were an extremely endangered species, being hunted for sport but also for safety. The Dwarf clan known as the Torgrymst Coldrake were named after them.
