Müdamiri

The Müdamiri are a religious sect in the Lego castle Roleplay. They have a formalized belief system, with specific rules and rituals.

The Müdamiri religion was polytheistic, meaning that it contained multiple deities. The best-known of these deities was Müdamir, the powerful patriarch god.

Two other named deities in the Müdamiri pantheon are Alimash and Gamith.

Müdamir is the daemonic Chief deity of the national religion of both the Mürad Empire and Concordia. He is depicted as being roughly humanoid but much larger than a man. He was, in particular, the patron deity of the ruling class – the ancient Concordian capital was named Müdabaan, and their ruler the Müdro, as well as the Müdaan and Müdinas all claim to be descended from Müdamir. There are temples to Müdamir: he is the only being referred to as a god by the Concordians and Mürad alike. Müdamir is clearly feared by his followers and is regarded as cruel and monstrous.

Christianity??

Hey, guys. So I just found the worst thing to try to explain away in LCRP. A user by the name thatsmyjamlegomovie has a character named "Christian Huntington."

Now, we all know(Who am I kidding..XP) that the Greek word Χριστιανός (Christianos), meaning "follower of Christ" or "little Christ", comes from Χριστός (Christos), meaning "anointed one", with an adjectival ending borrowed from Latin to denote adhering to, or even belonging to, as in slave ownership. In the Greek Septuagint, christos was used to translate the Hebrew מָשִׁיחַ (Mašíaḥ, messiah), meaning "[one who is] anointed." In other European languages, equivalent words to Christian are likewise derived from the Greek, such as Chrétien in French and Cristiano in Spanish.

How do we handle this?

Wendell again: first off, don't delete the stuff I write in here until both of you have seen it. Again, my internet is down and thus I cannot comment. But I can edit it on my phone using data. Mav/Loli, if either if you didn't see my earlier message in here tell me and I'll repeat it. Anyways, for the Christian thing, ignore it. Like Mav said, that translation means nothing in LCRP, just like Ignis and Pyro mean nothing (in LCRP the terms Ignis and Pyro refer to fire through association with the Cabur and Dasu'r, not the Greek and Latin roots) Christian can mean whatever the heck we want it to. It could mean "of the countryside" if we wanted. That would also make a funny degree of irony as "pagan" means of the countryside and the Christians basically destroyed the pagans culture... (Though not well enough as the Neo-Pagan movement had arisen. Studying paganism is actually quite interesting as certain sects have very intriguing ideals on nature worship. If you really wanted to "label" my believes system it would be "Athiest Pagan" but that's a bit counterintuitive as Pahans are usually polytheistic... Bah humbug. I got off track, where was I? Oh yeah.) the point is that "Christian" can mean whatever the digger we want it to.
